Getronics UK & Ireland, a leading provider of IT workspace management services, has appointed LEWIS PR as its retained agency. LEWIS will be charged with increasing market awareness for Getronics and its service offering, since its acquisition by Dutch telecom giant KPN in October last year.

Getronics is an expert in workspace management services, shared services and collaboration technologies. The company, which has a long heritage in the IT sector (grown out of companies such as Olivetti, Wang Global and PinkRoccade) is strengthening its market positioning to the UK media and industry analysts post acquisition.

One of the immediate priorities for LEWIS PR will be to communicate the new plans and positioning on behalf of the ICT services provider. LEWIS will also introduce Dave Baldwin, who joins Getronics this year, to the key media. The agency will use a combination of traditional media relations and social media to position Getronics as a thought leader in IT services and outsourcing.

The campaign kicks off immediately and will be headed in the UK by Anna Longstaff, London general manager.
