LEWIS announces 25% global growth

LEWIS PR has just filed another year of strong financial results, with revenues up by 25%. The agency achieved revenues in excess of £14m for its 2007 financial year, in addition to a significant profit margin increase. In the same year the agency added ten new offices and headcount rose to over 260 staff globally.*The LEWIS international network reported growth in each region – Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, the UK and the US. Globally, LEWIS opened a number of new city locations, including European operations in Budapest and Prague, and US offices in San Jose, CA and Seattle, WA. In APAC the network also expanded with new offices in Bangalore and Delhi.
LEWIS PR now has fifteen offices in Europe with a further two due to open in the next quarter. In Germany, LEWIS PR has also recently been ranked number two by IT PR revenues, according to industry league tables (PR JOURNAL).
In the US, LEWIS was shortlisted as PRWEEK’s Small Consultancy of the Year and the agency received further awards from Bulldog Reporter, SABRE and the PRSA. New clients included enterprise software companies Progress Software and F-Secure, digital entertainment specialist Emotiv, and Web 2.0 brands Eventful and Prosper. LEWIS PR Inc now has eight offices and is one of the fastest growing agencies in the US.
In APAC, LEWIS PR’s growth over the period was supported by new clients Research in Motion and Audi.

About fifty per cent of our business now runs across multiple markets.”
“We also have further significant client wins and network expansion news in the pipeline,” Wittermann added.
The UK operation grew headcount to over 70. Both LEWIS Manchester and the UK’s OCTANE division grew in excess of 50%. Major client wins in the UK included Northgate HR and Pret a Manger. A further two regional offices in the UK are planned to open imminently.
