What
An opportunity exists for a high calibre graduate to support the teams as a PR intern in its busy Westminster office for one month.
The right candidate will be a focused individual interested in pursuing a career in PR and wanting to gain some hands-on commercial experience.
The role will be varied, but responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring the media for breaking news
- Generating daily news scans
- Updating media lists
- Tracking and presenting client coverage
- Creating coverage reports about press clippings and PR activities
- Helping with logistical coordination of press tours
- Assisting with agency office administration
This is an outstanding opportunity to observe and work with talented PR professionals and former journalists. For the right person, the internship could develop into a permanent PR trainee position with fast-track career opportunities.
Who
You will need a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent), fluent English, strong office skills and lots of enthusiasm. This is a demanding role and will require flexibility, attention to detail and tenacity.
You must be available to work full-time and have accommodation in the London area.
